Meet the Makers
We didn’t start Midori because we saw a gap in the market.
We started it because matcha had quietly changed our lives and we couldn’t find a single place in India that took it as seriously as we did.
For years, matcha was a daily ritual before it was ever a business idea. No pitch decks, no strategy sessions, just a bowl, a practice, and something that gave us focus without the crash. Clean energy. A steadier kind of clarity. We became obsessed with understanding why it worked, where it came from, and what made one cup feel different from another.
And then we’d walk into cafés and watch it get buried under syrups, loaded with sugar, and served with a trend label slapped on it. That bothered us more than it should have.
So we built Midori the only way that felt right, starting from the source. Obsessing over grade, origin, and process before we ever thought about packaging or marketing. No fillers. No shortcuts. No compromises dressed up as innovation.
Midori isn’t for everyone. It’s for the person who wants to actually feel the difference, not just order something green, This is real matcha. And this is why we built it.
